For decades, we’ve been talking about the promise of renewable energy, but the inconvenient truth remains: our energy grid is still largely dependent on fossil fuels, and our batteries are still struggling to keep up.

That’s why recent breakthroughs in energy storage have sent shockwaves of excitement through the scientific community.
