The path ahead is daunting, but it’s not impossible. We can choose to follow the ideology of growth and consumption, or we can opt for a more radical, more nuanced, and more sustainable path. The choice is ours. Will we continue to cling to the myth of sustainable development, or will we seize the chance to create a better future, one that’s grounded in reality, not rhetoric?
