CSP systems work by focusing sunlight onto a central point, generating heat that drives a turbine to produce electricity. Additionally, CSP systems can be designed to capture and utilize waste heat, further reducing their environmental impact.

While CSP has become more competitive in recent years, it still requires significant investment to deploy at scale. Another challenge is the complexity of CSP systems, which require sophisticated engineering and maintenance.

However, researchers and innovators are working tirelessly to overcome these challenges. Advances in materials science and engineering are enabling the development of more efficient and cost-effective CSP systems. Additionally, new business models and financing mechanisms are being explored to make CSP more accessible to a wider range of investors and developers.
