Hydroelectric power plants work by using the energy of moving water to generate electricity. In fact, the International Hydropower Association estimates that the global hydropower industry could increase its installed capacity by up to 50% by 2025, with many countries seeking to leverage hydroelectric power as a key component of their renewable energy mixes.

As the world continues to grapple with the challenges of climate change, energy security, and sustainable development, hydroelectric power offers a compelling solution. With its proven track record of reliability, efficiency, and environmental sustainability, this tried-and-true source of renewable energy is poised to play an increasingly important role in powering our homes, industries, and communities for generations to come.
